Good for you, Gerri! Brava! So let's begin.

Goal 1: Yesterday I only managed 200 words, But that's okay on a day heavy with errands. Today was much of he same but I am now sitting down to write. Tomorrow is a full writing day. Goal 2: Weight Loss Plan--exercise. I didn't kickbox or walk today. It was a busy day between church and family. So I scurried off and did 50 pushups and 50 crunches first chance I got. It's not enough but I'll build on that. New Goal 3: Try something new each month. I tried a Japanese soda Litchi flavored. I had to ram down a litte plunger cap to unseal the soda by freeing a glass marble. It was just as much fun as drinking the soda. Definitely a keeper.

How did you do? Now I'm off to write.

Today was a good day for goals. I wrote a thousands word I'm very happy with. I also walked for a half hour. I managed to accomplish my word count and my health goals. Yay! It's really a lift up from yesterday when I wrote a little over 200 words.

For the folks just dropping up, I'm talking about words written. 200-250 words equals a page of a book. It doesn't sound tough to write but writers will tell you that it's tough when you're making it up. 1000 words is about 5 pages. In this day and age, part of a writer's health involves walking away from the computer. In talking to my eye doctor, he advised me to take frequent breaks and even turn away from the computer and focus my eyes elsewhere. So take care of yourself and get your work done. When you're feeling well, you can be more productive. Oh, I better get to bed, the cats are on their nightly rampage and have just run over my body.

Gerri, you're doing a great job. Anyone else want to start posting their goals? Today I kickboxed and did better than yesterday. Goal 2 accomplished. Okay, Goal 1 is in trouble. Last night I fell asleep while trying to write. Tonight I came home from the dojo and started writing for my blogs. Remember I said that blog word count wouldn't count. I've written 2 blogs for Nights of Passion and now I'm here writing. Easily 1000 words between three blog articles. What am I going to do? I'm going to regroup and sign off. The goal is to focus and write 1000 words on my novel before I pass out. Wish me luck!
